Your portrait session is designed to feel less like a traditional photoshoot and more like stepping into the pages of a magazine.

At my Midtown Sacramento boudoir studio, your experience begins with professional hair and makeup, customized to complement your features and personal style. Whether you want something soft and understated or polished and glamorous, the goal is never to transform you into someone else. You should still look unmistakably like you—just beautifully photographed.

Before your session, we'll plan your wardrobe together. You don't need a closet full of lingerie or any idea what you're supposed to wear for boudoir photos. Some of my favorite portraits are created with simple pieces: a favorite bodysuit, an oversized shirt, a dress, beautiful fabric, or nothing more complicated than a white sheet. We'll choose looks that feel authentic to you and photograph beautifully.

And once you're in front of my camera, you don't need to know how to pose.
I'll direct you through the entire session—from where to place your hands and how to move your body to the smallest changes in expression. My approach to boudoir photography is editorial, intimate and completely guided, allowing you to stop worrying about what you're doing and simply experience being photographed.
The result is a collection of sophisticated, artful portraits that feel less like traditional boudoir and more like you belong in a magazine.
Because this isn't about becoming a different woman for the camera.
It's about creating art from the woman you already are.
