Welcome to my boudoir studio in Midtown Sacramento. This is where we create photographs that capture your authentic essence—the expressions, emotions, and little things that make you unmistakably you.
My style is personal and emotive, with an editorial feel. I want to create beautiful photographs, and I want you to recognize yourself in them. To see something of how the people who love you see you.
Your experience begins with a conversation. We look through inspiration images and talk about how you want to feel when you see your portraits. Together, we decide what that could look like for you.
The studio is private and welcoming, with convenient parking to make arriving easy. Once you’re here, you can settle in and let me guide you.
Before Your Session: Making It Personal
Before your session, we’ll chat on the phone about how you want to be seen and what inspires you. Bring your ideas—even the ones you’re a little hesitant to say out loud. These photographs are meant to document you, and I want to hear what you have in mind.
We’ll talk through your makeup, the wardrobe you’ll bring, and the sets we might use. Those choices help us shape the mood of your session, whether you’re drawn to something soft and understated, expressive and intimate, or bold and editorial. Whether its lingerie, your favorite nightgown, a sheet or completely in the nude – this is about creating images that show you how you want to be seen.
You don’t need to arrive with a complete vision. Helping you bring it together is part of what I do.
Posing and Expression: I’ll Guide You Through It
You don’t need modeling experience for your Sacramento boudoir photoshoot. I’ll guide you from head to toe, including where to put your hands, how to move, and how to settle into each pose.
Just as much attention goes into your expression. A beautiful pose is only part of a photograph; the emotion is what makes it personal.
We’ll make room for a quiet look, a little attitude, a real laugh. I’ll help you find the expressions that feel natural to you. It’s my job to pay attention to the details so you can enjoy being photographed.
After Your Session: Seeing Your Photographs
After your session, I’ll send you a preview. About five to seven days later, we’ll meet on Zoom for your image viewing and ordering appointment.
We’ll go through your photographs together. I’ll be there to cheer you on, help you choose your favorites, and talk through which digital images and printed artwork fit what you want.
This is where we decide how you’ll enjoy your portraits—whether that means an album you can return to, artwork for your space, or a collection of digital images.
At least a deposit toward your purchase is due at your viewing appointment. Your digital images and physical artwork are delivered once your balance is paid in full.
Your Boudoir Photography Investment
You should expect to invest $1,700–$2,900 in your full experience, including your session and the photographs and artwork you choose.
We’ll discuss pricing before your session so you can plan your experience with a clear understanding of the investment.
