A New Chapter Begins: My Move from the Bay Area to Sacramento Boudoir Photography

FILED IN: boudoir, Personal

Change is always a little scary — but it’s also the doorway to everything beautiful that’s waiting for us.

After calling the Bay Area home for so long, the idea of turning the page feels surreal. Pleasanton has been the backdrop for so much growth, creativity, and connection in my life and business. But as much as I love this chapter, I know it’s time for something new. A new space. New energy. New adventures.

I feel like it’s time in my life as I turn 40 years old for a fresh start. They stay 40 is when your life truly begins…everything before is just research. So why not just really start something new?

In Summer 2026, I’ll officially be relocating to Sacramento, California.

What This Means for My Bay Area Clients

If you’ve been thinking about booking a boudoir, beauty, or branding session with me in my Pleasanton studio, you still have until June 15, 2026 to do so before the move. Even after I relocate, I’ll be offering very limited Bay Area mini sessions exclusively for past clients as well as on location boudoir and portrait photoshoots.

If you’d like first access when those dates are released, be sure you’re on my mailing list.

Gratitude for the Community That Built Me

My heart feels so full when I think about every incredible woman I’ve had the honor of photographing here. This Bay Area community helped me grow — not just as a photographer, but as a woman, an artist, and a business owner.

This space allowed me to build a business I love with my whole soul, rooted in empowerment, connection, and helping women see themselves the way I see them.

To my beautiful Bay Area beauty team — Alexandria and Janessa — thank you for making magic with me time and time again. I adore you both, and I promise this isn’t goodbye. I’ll be back to create more together.

I’m also deeply grateful that we’ll still have Esperansa on board, along with some wonderful new faces joining the team as this next chapter unfolds.

Stepping Into What’s Next

This move feels aligned, expansive, and full of possibility. I’ll continue offering boudoir, beauty, branding, and portrait experiences — just in a fresh new Sacramento space that reflects where I’m headed next.

The new studio will be dog-friendly, which means you’ll likely still get to meet the studio mascot, Sadie Roo.

A heartfelt thank-you to Athena for helping me test out the new space and bring this vision to life. Here are some more beautiful photos from our new space in Midtown Sacramento.

Here’s to growth, to change that leads somewhere beautiful, and to the women who have supported my art every step of the way.

I can’t wait to welcome you into this next chapter with me.
