Bridal boudoir photos are so much fun! I love when I get contact from a bride saying they want to surprise their partner with an album of their boudoir session. It’s an amazing gift that is for sure going to get you an incredible reaction.

There are a few reasons why a bridal boudoir session is one of the best gifts you can give yourself and your partner in celebration for your wedding day.

1. Learn how to be comfortable in front of the camera
There are so many pre-wedding jitters coming up to the wedding. One of the number one things I hear from anyone getting married is that they are nervous about their wedding photos because they are “awkward in front of the camera”. It is my goal with all of my brides that come to me for bridal boudoir that they will not only leave with incredible images to give as a gift, but a whole coaching course on how to be confident in front of any camera. I will forever stand by my saying that there is no such thing as photogenic, just comfortable in front of the camera or uncomfortable. I want to have my ladies walk away with tools that will guide them in posing, lighting, and feeling comfortable in front of the camera on their big day.

2. The reaction photos are priceless
Many of my brides choose to give their album to their partner on their wedding day. This means the bride is more than likely not in presence of their partner to see their reaction. You are going to have amazing photos to look back on! Some of my clients even send me the reaction photos knowing how much of a kick I get out of them! Just make sure you have your photographer frame the image so that only the facial expressions of the recipient opening the album is showing, and not the contents of the album itself. You don’t want to worry about sharing your wedding gallery images with sneak peeks of your boudoir album in the photos.

3. Get a confidence boost before the wedding day
Wedding planning is stressful. So many things to do, along with keeping up with life and all the demands it is asking. So now not only are you trying to keep up with work, home, self-care and social connections, but you are also planning a huge event on top of that! Talk about exhausting. Exciting, but oh so exhausting. Because of this, many of my clients fall back in their self-care before the wedding day and are feeling run down before the big day. I love being able to put that extra kick of confidence back into my ladies so they can remember how important that they are. After hair and makeup is done, they are feeling extra pampered and rejuvenated. After seeing some sneak peeks on the back of the camera during their shoot, they leave feeling confident. They also realize how damn lucky their partner is 😜
